Question for Pokemon Emerald
Yo, I was wondering...What exactly is the mystery gift? I know, you enter "Link Together With All" at any Pokemart. And yes, you access it via the main menu at the beginning screen, but WHAT IS IT? WHAT DO YOU DO WITH IT??! I don't see the exact point on what it's for!!

It is a thing where you and your friend get a gift. Hook up the WA's select mystery gift, and you should both get a gift.

It's pretty much what the own title is. Mystery Gift. You get a mystery gift. It can be a ticket for a special event, a rare berrry, etc.

Mystery Gift is for geting stuff like pokemons n items for free n also first you must buy an wierless abdapter activate the msytery gift.When you got an wierless aabdapter you also have to ask you're friend with an adapter to help you.Thank you!!!!!

Mystery gift is when you can get items off you mates of a different game cartridge

Myster Gift allows you to get the secret tickets from someone who already has real copies fo them obtained through Nintendo Events (USA only).
The tickets will grant you passage to the islands where you can catch Mew, Ho-oh an' Lugia, Deoxys, an' Latia/os.

It's what ShadowGX said "mystery gift is a bunch of crap." Yes it's to get event items, but if you don't live in New York you can't get anything.
