Hi how do I catch latios or lotas? My mom never asked me what color I liked better.

First you have to defeat the Elite 4. Then there will be a commercial on the TV downstairs and the color of the Pok�mon will buzz out, then your mom will ask you what color it was, Red or Blue, and whichever you chose, that's the Pok�mon that'll appear in the wild.

You must defeat the Elite 4 first before your mom will ask you.

You need to beat the Elite Four at least once. Only then will you get to pick a color (red or blue).
