A wel balanced team with variable move sets are best to beat the elite four..you will need a Grass and Water/Ice type mainly...Figthing type could help you too and bit of Fire types aswell. Electric types are not bad for Hoen Elite 4 since the champion uses Water type only.

shadow333 answered:

Your Pokemon will need to be lv. 60+. You'll need a fitghting Pokemon, which is super effective against the first of the elite 4. A dragon type for the last of the elite 4. I for got the other to, but for the champion you will need an electric pokemon.

Hope I helped

EspeonDude_ answered:

Well, you first need a well rounded and constructed team. You are most definitly going to need your starter(if you got Swampert, great). Now, you need something that hurts Dark types, Fighting is your best bet. I think you can use Machamp fairly well. Ghost types are up next, Ghost hurts Ghost, so get something like Absol(Dark type) and give it Swords Dance and Shadow Ball, that will make Pheobe no problem. Glacia uses Ice Types, so Fighting again is your best bet. Drake uses Dragon types, so if you got anything at all with Ice Beam, use it. Lastly, the Champion is a water specialist, so keep Electric handy. Raichu isin't bad, or just anything that weilds Thunderbolt. He also has Wishcash, which resists Electric, so get a Grass type. Ludicolo is also there, so get something that can use Aerial Ace.

johnkrill answered:

Well, first off is having lots of good levels. Go for Pokemon around level 50-60. You also want a nice variety of Pokemon types. Try adding Pokemon in your party that are...

Fire type
Water type
Electric type
Fighting type
Grass type
Flying/Dragon type

The last thing to do is add moves to your Pokemon that work with the pokemon's type. If you teach a fire Pokemon Solar Beam, you've jut wasted a TM. Keep Pokemon to moves around their type.

There are a few exceptions above, such as teaching Thunder to Kyogre (thunder never misses when it rains).

One last thing that helps is finding a Pokemon that can learn a 1 hit KO move, as well as Mind Reader. Mind Reader makes your next attack automatically hit, so your 1 hit KO move will work.

Any team that is leveled up well and has good move sets.

Ok. Here are in my opinion the best.
They all need to be atleast lvl 55+. If you started with Treecko, you want your Sceptile(If you haven't used TM's) to know Dragon Claw, Aerial Ace, Leaf Blade, and a choice move. You porobably also want a Machoke/Machamp that knows good moves for Sydney. Phoebe is kind of weird. If your a pure strategist, sorta like me, you'll want a Ghost Pokemon with good powerful ghost moves. But my Sceptiles Dragon Claw has done me pretty well against them. You'll either want a strong electric Pokemon or just use your Sceptile vs Sealeo/Walrein and Machoke/Machamp for Glalies. Drake use Dragon Claw or Ice Beam. Wallace the Champion has water, so grass works on everyone except Ludicolo, so you'll want a Flying type move.
So you need these types: Fighting, Machoke/Machamp/Blaziken, Ghost, Grass Tropius/Sceptile, Dragon/Ice, Flying Tropius/any Pokemon with a flying move.
Sorry if this is a little long.

evanmorgan answered:

Really any thing as long as you have rayquaza
But my personal team is: blaziken lv.88 rayquaza lv.84 flygon lv.50

Salemence lv.52 and thats all to it. Ps. it will take a long time for you to get all those so here is another good team :rayquaza, your starter Pokemon, flygon and your other strongest ones. Good luck.
