Question for Pokemon Emerald
I recently started a new game and I want to know (from at least 3 people) what Pokemon I should use. THIS IS NOT A TEAM RATING!!! I currently have 9 pokemon. Also, I have arrived at Mauville and I'm ready to get the 3rd badge. My Pokemon are:
Nincada (Lv.19) Flash, Leech Life, Sand Attack, Mind Reader
Gulpin (Lv.21) Yawn, Poison Gas, Sludge, Amnesia
Lotad (Lv.18) Astonish, Growl, Absorb, Nature Power
Combusken (Lv.20) Scratch, Cut, Peck, Ember
Aron (Lv.19) Iron Defense Metal Claw, Mud-Slap, Headbutt
Electrike (Lv.19) Tackle, Thunderwave, Quick Attack, Howl (traded)
Shroomish (Lv.18) Mega Drain, Tackle, Stun Spore, Leech Seed
Mightyena (Lv. 19) Tackle, Howl, Sand Attack, Bite
Swablu (Lv.19) Peck, Fury Attack, Astonish, Sing

Evolve this team, there only five but if you could get ann absol for a replacement for mighteyena that would be good. You need to train more, watson is though with that kind of level.

Nincada is part ground type so he can withstand practically any attack from the Mauville gymleader (Wattson), so that's why you should use him for that particular battle.

For now, you should keep the Combusken, Aron, Mightyena, Lotad, Electrike, and Swablu for the most balanced team.

I suggest catching some new Pokemon I got a roseileana lvl 78 and it kicks butt! I have been haveing a look at my giude and I haved checked up on your Pokemon here is your aims
Nincada-->Ninjask/Sedinja lvl 21 move should know: Nijask: Fury cutter, Flash Leech life, Sand attack
Shedinja: Flash, Leech Life, Sand Attack, Mind Reader(Dosen't learn any new moves yet)
Gulpin lvl 23 moves should know: Encore, Yawn, Poison gas, Sludge
Lotad-->Lombre lvl 20 moves should know: Nature Power, Absorb, Fake out, Astonish
Combusken lvl 24 moves should know: Scratch, Cut, Peck, Ember
Aron lvl 21 moves should know: Iron Defense Metal Claw, Mud-Slap, Headbutt
Electrike lvl 20 moves should know:Tackle, Thunderwave, Quick Attack, Spark
Shroomish lvl 20 moves should know: Mega Drain, Tackle, Stun Spore, Leech Seed
Mightyena lvl 21 moves should know : Tackle, Howl, Sand Attack, Bite
Swablu lvl 22 moves should know: Peck, Fury Attack,Safeguard, Sing
