Question for Pokemon Emerald

Ok I have three things I urgently need answered.

1) How can I get a Flaafy!? I know it's the evolevd form of Mareep, but can you catch Mareep on Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald? (I have all three games) Coz someone told me you can get Mareep in Altering Cave, but when I go in there, all I find is Zubats.

2) Where are the secret parts for the safari zone? I've been told that you can get some Johto Pokemon in the secret parts, like Yanma, Spinarak and Ledyba. But I can't find the secret parts. Do you have to cheat to get to them? I can't keep trading with my friend's Leaf Green forever.

3) Ok, alot of questions have been asked about this, but i'm going to ask again coz Ho-Oh is one of my fav Pokemon and I really want it on my Emerald. HOW DO YOU GET TO NAVEL ISLAND, BIRTH ISLAND ECT!!!!!!!!!!! The Sevii Islands are the most talked about thing here on SuperCheats, but all I really want is Ho-Oh, and I wouldn't mind Jirachi too. Everyone says that you need an action replay, gameshark, or some sort of cheating device to get them. So the other day I went to EB Games (This is in Australia) and asked for an AR or Gameshark. But they said that they had none in stock, and I would have to buy them from America!! I really don't want to go half way around the world just to get a Pokemon for my Emerald Game, so can someone please tell me if there is ANY OTHER POSSIBLE WAY to get an AR or Gameshark. Also, how much does an AR cost???????? Can I please get an answer in Australian dollars. THANK YOU SO MUCH PKMN FREAKS! LUV U ALL!

1. Safari zone!
2.after you bea the league the next part is open, then if you get an acrod bike and jump over those white blocks, should be able to get to the secret zones. Though you can't get all johto, you still need to trade.

3.go to ebay or other shop that has them, AR/GS can't be out of stock, shope atleast have 15 of them a week or two.

1. You get Flaaffy from the gamecube game, Pokemon Colloseum, along with a fair share of other unaccessible johto pokemon. If anybody knows the purpose of the Altering Cave, I'd like to know as well.

2. The secret parts are accessible once you obtain the national pokedex. You enter the park, and immediately go north, then east between the trees. There should be a bystander that mentions that he has never seen this part of the park. You don't need to cheat.

3. For those legendary Pokemon locations, you need to attend a nintendo event. I've never been so I don't know all the details. I have no idea what an AR or gameshark costs.

Master Volthawk answered:

1) Mareep can be found in the new areas of the Safari Zone (see next answer)
2) The secret areas are reached by a small pathway above the entrance. The new areas can only be entered after you defeat the Elite 4.
3) You must use a GS or AR code to get the tickets to those Islands. You may be able to get one on eBay, but I can't help you with Australian matters...

Ok Im going to answer questions 1 and 2 at the same time. Mareep can be found in this safari zone extension quite commonly. The secret parts are not difficult to get to at all, they become completely open to you once you defeat the elite 4 and the champion. No cheating involved. Yes true you need an AR or gameshark, and if your not willing to go to USA from australia, which I don't blame you for, just check out E-bay. You can find pretty much everything there. That being said there is no way for me to predict how much it is going to cost you especially in australian dollars. Just open some other window with a currency exchange on it and use that or there is probably one within e-bay itself. I can guarentee it will be a whole lot less expensive then an airplane ticket. Just make sure if you do get it you are reasonably sure it is from a reliable source and you don't get scammed.

Why can't you just order one online? I suggest an AR Max Duo, that's the newest for GBA (and you can save DS files sometimes) as far as I know. It's about $25-$30 in American dollars.(I looked it up for you, it's between $32 and $38 Australian Dollars) I don't know about the shipping, but try GameStop.com ( EB Games-same company-why can't they ship it to you from America?? Ask for a supervisor in their Customer Service Department. I have trouble believing they won't ship one to there, it's silly to come here to get one! You probably got some idiot who works there for beer money, get a number off the internet site for the whole company and call them! OR, ask the store to order one for you-if they're "out of stock" that implies they had them in stock at some point! Get a manager!) Also, Walmart.com, or just do a google for it and see who will ship it to you in Australia. With all the online shopping going on I think you should be able to find one, perhaps in your own country even! I don't know any Department stores there, but try them and/or wherever you get your games. You'll have to find those ticket codes yourself though, and a lot don't work right. Warp codes work better if you remember to turn off the device when you get there or you keep warping to the same place. But, if you have FR/LG that model has all 386 encounter codes for those games preloaded (And those games are down to $20 new around here!)
You can get a lot of Jhoto Pokes from Colosseum and XD so if you have a GameCube, the cable is like $2 and those games are pretty cheap used-that'll really get your Pokedex filled with Jhoto and other good Pokemon that you can breed to get all of em, almost.
Hope this helps you out! I love being a Pokemon Freak!!!!
