Question for Pokemon Emerald
If you give your Pokemon a nickname at Slateport City and you want to show it off by battling in Pokemon XD in "Free Battle Mode", will the pokemon's color change into a different color or just the same?

I'm not sure what the Nickname has to do with anything, but your Pokemon will look different in XD-they're 3D like and much livelier and animated, and the moves and faints look much cooler and more colorful. It'll be the same color, but look different and more "real". Try it out! The link cable is only like $2 at GameStops.
