I think so yeah. it works by connecting two gba/sp to each other and then us ethe mystery gift.

1.Yes.

2.When you go to turn onyour gameboy with the game in it, mystery gift should be right under new game, but you need a friend who also has it and you need wireless adaptor.

NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!! Mystery Gift doesn't work that way-believe me I have Ruby, Sapphire, 2 Emeralds, 2 GBA's, and a DS, plus friends with them and wireless adapters, and I tried every possible way, it does nothing! You can update your Berry program if they've stopped growing in your game, trade/import Pokemon(why raise them again?), records, etc., with R/S before you beat the E4, though.
The way Mystery Gift is used is ONLY at Pokemon Events put on by Nintendo when they put a ticket into your game (ex:Aurora Ticket), that is how you make something happen with Mystery Gift. I'm pretty sure in Japan they can do other stuff with Mystery Gift like they can with e-reader cards, but here that's it.SORRY!
P.S. Please people, stop spreading around these Pokemyths! If you haven't done it or seen it done, then don't comment on it, because you're misinforming these guys and uselessly getting their hopes up! Thank you.
