AR/GS or Codebreaker. Which ever you prefer!! Or you could go to nintendo events to get the tickets so you could go to the special islands

Yes,unless you go to a Nintendo Event.As far as I know,Nintendo Events are not still running.

I suggest an AR since I think the Mall tour last year was the only/last time to get those tickets from Nintendo Events-they didn't even give them out at the 10th Anniversary Championships in NYC Aug 8, 2006-but you could get a FLYING Pikachu or any of the other "Top 20" as they called it. They gave out Mews at Toys R Us stores September 30th-but not the Old Sea Chart! They just put them into your game.
AR has warp codes that bring you right to the islands, then turn off the AR(or you keep warping to the same place)when you get there and go after them! The codes that put the tickets into your PC don't tend to work too well, so look for warp codes! I have ones for each island that I know work, so once you get an AR post a question and I can give them to you if you can't find them in the AR section on this site, OK. That's where I got them from, though!
