Cross Stinger answered:

The Hardy, Docile, Serious, Bashful, and Quirky natures are vestigial.

Attack is decreased in Pokmon with Bold, Timid, Modest, and Calm natures but is increased in those with the Lonely Brave, Adamant, or Naughty nature; Defense goes down for Lonely, Hasty, Mild, and Gentle and goes up for Bold, Relaxed, Impish, and Lax; Speed goes down for Brave, Relaxed, Quiet, and Sassy but goes up for Timid, Hasty, Jolly, and Naive; Special Attack goes down for Adamant, Impish, Jolly, and Careful but goes up for Modest, Mild, Quiet, and Rash; Special Defense goes down for Naughty, Lax, Naive, and Rash but goes up for Calm, Gentle, Sassy, and Careful.

Those whose Attack goes up by nature will not be confused by the Figy Berry; those with a Defense advantage are resistant to Iapapa; those with Speed advantage are resistant to Mago; those with Special Attack advantage are resistant to Wiki; those with Special Defense advantage are resistant to Aguav.

Some natures can up Attack, up Defense, up Special Attack, up Special Defense, up Speed, up HP, but some are completely mis-matched.
