Question for Pokemon Emerald
Where do I go to get the fishing rods? Where can I find corphish on Pokemon emerald? An elite four person has crawdaunt but I haven't seen a corphish wild or by a trainer, I need the fishing rods so that I can catch the Pokemon I need to catch by using the fishing rods.

Well he can be caught by all 3 rods.
Old rod is obtained by a fisherman in Dewford. He's hard to miss.
The good rod is obtained after you got the 5th badge and HM03 Surf. When you go past that lake east of Mauville, on the other side are 2 fishermen. Talk to the one most north and he'll give it to you.
The super rod is a little tricky. First go to Mossdeep. Then go as far east as you can, and then go up the stairs as if you're going to the Space Station thingy. When you go up the first set of stairs, however, go west and then north and you'll find a house. Go in the house, talk to the fisherman, and get the super rod from him.
Okay, now when I catch Corphish, I normally go onto route 117 in the first lake you see [the most southern one on that route]. If you use surf and go to the end, there should be a small gap (of land) for you to jump on. Go there and face the water [obviously] and fish. I reccomend using the super rod but you can catch him using any rod.
He's pretty common and easy to catch so he should be no challenge to you.
P.S. He evolves into Crawdaunt at level 30.

Old rod- found just outside dewford town

In all cases the rods are given to you by fishermen sitting in there house, you just have to find the right house and talk to them and say yes you like fishing and youll get the rod no questions asked.
Tough break but you can't get corphish or crawdaunt on emerald without stickhandling a bit. They arent found in the wild or by fishing, so you have to either cheat to get them or trade them from another game that has them.

Super rod is what you need for you're corpish problem, you can get that in mossdeep city, from the fisherman on the island, now to get you're corpish, go to petalburg city and look for any of those little lakes and fish there, you should get a corpish eevery time.

Old rod-dewford town
Good rod- I forgot what route it is but it is near mauville. To the right, a fisherman will give it to you
Super rod-mossdeep city, a house at the end near the space center.
Corphish can be found on a little river between verdanturf and mauville, use good or super rod.
