Question for Pokemon Emerald

I am having trouble with Juan. I'm pretty new to Emerald, I've been on it for 5 days. My team (Which are the only Pokemon above level 20) consists of:


Doduo LV.46
Move Set:
Hyper Beam
Return
Tri Attack
Fly
Hp:123 Atk:120 Def.: 92 Sp. Atk:65 Sp. Def.:72 Speed: 117

Trapinch LV. 30 (Recently caught, holding EXP. Share)
Crunch
Sand Tomb
Faint Attack
Secret Power

Vileplume Lv. 33(caught 1 hour ago)
Bullet Seed
Stun Spore
Sleep Powder
Giga Drain
Hp:95 Atk: 51 Def.:70 Sp. Atk:76 Sp. Def. 64. Speed : 40

Golduck LV 41
Surf
Dynamic Punch
Dive
Rock Smash

You need to level them up so much and get some betterpokemon instead of vilploom and dodu

Well obviously you need to get two more on your team. Might I suggest something of electric type, perhaps manectric or raichu. And youll probably want something that can use psychic, gardevior or alakazam. Or something of fighting or dark type. Heracross or absol are nice. And you are definatly going to need a bunch more levels with that team if you want to have a chance against juan. Wheres your starter?

Doduo for Juan? NO! Get rid of both Doduo and Vileplume and add 2 others to your party.

Vileplume and Doduo have very low stats compared to some others. The moment you get waterfall I recommend getting a Bagon. Your Trapinch would do well to have Flamethrower to cover it's weakness against grass. Also you only have 4 Pokemon. Where's your starter?

Umm... The more the merrier? You've only got four pkmn there for starters... For Juan you'll probably want an electric pokemon. You're also probably better off slowing down your game play a bit and training for a little while, gives your game a longer life too, you won't get bored with it as fast :-)
