He evolves around level 40

Wailmer evolves into Wailord at level 40. Another method of finding Wailord is by Surfing (or Fishing; I can't remember) on the Route south of Ever Grande City.

finding walmer and evolving is much easier than finding a wailord the encounter chances are 1% at rout 129 when you are surfing took me 1h10 to finally get him

Lv 40 into Wailord and they are really strong, I had one. When it wants to learn water sport teach it to him/her it is an amazing attack
