Whenever I try the shiny Pokemon codes, the pokemon name shows up as uk> &!!
Is there something wrong?

Maybe the code is in wrong or where ever you got it from is wrong, try Pokemon maker, it's a long code but it works, www.boomspeed.com/kpdavatar/PokemonMakerV4x.html
You only have to type the long code in, don't worry about the small codes, they're all in the big code, make sure to have the right version, you can find out by pressing the output (m) box and seeing if your (m) is close to it, they usually only put a few lines down but they should look like the ones on yours

No I t just does that for some reason before you put you're Pokemon in a box turn off the ar then click yes then turn it back on it works
