Question for Pokemon Emerald

I'm trying to make a normal type team that includes snorlax,pidgeot,persian and other normal pokemon. Which 6 should I use and what moves youd I teach them?

My snorlax has: bodyslam,mega punch,hyperbeam and yawn so far!

My pidgeot has:steel wing,aerial ace,double team and fly.

My persian has:shadowball,thunderbolt,iron tail and slash.

To tell you the truth (from me) I think it's completely pointless to make a team full of normal types. But on one hand it could be quite good, because they can learn most of the TMs and all of the HMs.

SNORLAX - Seems quite good. I would take away mega punch and replace it with Strength. At least Strength is a move that can be used outside of battle. And also, Yawn is an "okay" move, but I would replace it with Surf.
PIDGEOT - Pidgeot knows good moves. Instead of having double team, you could change it for a simple move like swift. Its just good to have a move for your Pokemon to fight weaker Pokemon, and then they will be easier to catch.
PERSIAN - Personally, Persian is one of my favourite Pokemon! (GO YOU!) Its moves are a little bit basic though. I would just replace Slash with Waterfall or Dive. To have a water move in there (especially a HM move), would be really good.

Now onto your other three Pokemon.
I would sugest EXPLOUD, CATSFORM, and SLAKING.

EXPLOUD should know Stomp, Rock Smash, Mega Punch/Mega Kick and Howl. Howl is good to get rid of enemies.
CATSFORM is good, because it knows moves that make elements stronger in battle.
SLAKING doesn't always obey it's trainer, but thats the beauty of it. Make Slaking learn Yawn, Thunder, Hydro Pump, and Ancient Power. All of these moves are different from eachother, and it's good because you have a wide variety to choose from while battling.
