I like how you didn't waste your TM's on Jirachi, but a better move than Double-Edge would have been either Refresh. Nobody likes injuring there own Pokemon with a move like Double-Edge.
Also, for all you people who need to know where to get Jirachi, you have to have a Gamecube, The game Pokemon Channel, a Gameboy, SAPPHIRE or RUBY (not Emerald, Leaf Green, or Fire Red), and a special link cable that connects from your Gameboy to the Gamecube. Also, you would have to beat the Pokemon league in SAPPHIRE or RUBY. Otherwise it won't work. Also, to get Jirachi on Emerald, you have to trade it from SAPPHIRE or RUBY first. Don't try to put it on Emerald straight away.
