Question for Pokemon Emerald
I have 2 questions.
1. Where and how do you get into the desert underpass?
2. I've heard rumors where you can get the starters from Kanto and the Johto reigons. Is it true? Please answer as soon as you see the questions!

1.You go to the dig maniac's house in Fallarbor Town and go in and after you get the fossil from the desert, you can go into the cave to the desert underpass. It also has only Ditto and the other fossil that you didnt get earlier.
2.You can only get it from the Johto but you can choose only one. You have to catch all 200 Hoenn pokemon. I just traded from XD and beat Mt. Battle 3 times. If you have XD I recommend you do that. To get Kanto Starters trade them from FireRed or LeafGreen.

1. In Fallabor town. In that fossil maniac place. A tunnel will be where he's standing. Ignore what he says and go in. You can find ditto ( common ) Whismur ( Uncommon ) and Loudred ( Rare ). At the end will be your lost fossil!
2. I belive it is true. BUT you can only get them from Jhoto, not Kanto. For Kanto you need to trade. Anyway, to get the Jhoto, you need to get 200 Pokemon and Prof. Birch will phone you on your pokenav. Then I think you need to go to Littleroot town and go to your house and come out or go to littleroot town and go to Prof. Birch's lab and talk to him.
P.S ( For both you need to have beat the Elite four at least once )

1)After you complete the Elite 4,go to the fossil maniac's house in Falarbour town.
2)You can't get the Kanto without trading,but you can get the one of the Johoto starters when you fill your pokedex.

2. Yes, after you get all of your hoenn dex filled up you can pick from totadile, cyndquille, or chickorita.

2.Yes but you have to trade with a friend or use a cheating device,but if you want the starts from Johto you can also trade from Pokemon collisuem.

If you complete the hoenn dex youll get a choice between cyndaquil, totodile, and chikorita. I don't know how to get the other 3.

1)After you get 1 fosill from the desert and defeated the Elite 4, go to fosill manic's house. Go inside the hole. There should be a tunnel with a hole in the end. Go in the hole. That is the Desert Underpass.
2)True. But you need to complete a certain no. Of captured Pokemon in the PokeDex.
