Is there any point in Altering Cave?
And...
What do I say to make Walda crying?(Rustboro City after defeating the Pokemon League in the upstairs of one of the buildings)

Altering Cave was supposed to be compatible with e-Reader cards that could change the Pok�mon found in there, but there's no word on that ability outside Japan. As for Walda, you can find out here.

There is nothing special about altering cave. And you'll need to go to a certain website to know the password and I'm sure cross stinger knows the website.

Altering cave is very strange, the Pokemon change in it when you use mystery gift/event. To get Mystery gift/event go to any pokemart and click on the paper lying on the counter. Type "Link Together With All" and the cashier will say something like "Oh! You know those words, that means you must know about mystery gift!" then save and switch off and on again. It should be there where you choose Continue Game e.t.c, BUT all it gives you are the options of Wonder Cards and Wonder News and I don't know what that is all about. If you choose ether of them it will say something like "You don't have a wonder Card/News so a new Card/news will be input, where should the wonder Card/news be accessed?" then it'll give you the option of Wireless communication or friend. If you choose wireless com it'll just scan the area for ages and not do a thing and if you choose friend then it doesn�t do anything ether so sorry about the letdown. I think it has something to do with Nintendo Events or something like that.
Walda or Wanda or something like that needs cheering up and the prize you get from doing that is your own custom PC Box wallpaper (great huh?-.-). To find the word that you need visit http://www.filb.de/?site=games/gba/emerald/word and choose there.
PS.If anyone can tell me how Mystery gift/event works please tell me, it will help others as well. Thank you.
