Question for Pokemon Emerald
Unfortunatly I misplaced my game and have to find it but does anyone know if you really can get to the other regions? And can you really get a gold/silver beginer after you get the national pokedex?

No you can't go to other regions, it takes up too much memory space. Although it would be awesome if you could. Yes, you do get to choose one of the Gold/Silver/Crystal starters once you receive the National Pok�Dex.

There is no access to Johto or Kanto, but a Johto starter you choose at Professor Birch's lab when you complete your Hoenn Pok�dex (aside from Jirachi and Deoxys).

No, you can't go to other regions. And you can get the silver/gold beginners after you complete the hoen dex.

You can't goto any other regions but when you beat the elite 4 you have to complete the hoenn pokedex then you can choose one of the starters from gold/silver/crystal

There is no new region but once you beat the league and get your pokedex upgraded you can find new Pokemon scattered everywhere and when you complete your pokedex you can choose a starter from the classic Gold and Silver games.
