Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hello Pokemon fans!!.

I was wondering why when I get to the elite 4 and beat it why I can't continue after I beat it is says that the previous file has been deleted. I was wondering is there anyway to stop it and allow me to continue my file after I beat the elite 4 and why it is happening in the first place.

Plz answer back as fast as possible

Don't turn off the power, watch all the credits, you should be back in Littleroot Town without having to continue game.

I'm sorry Halo Fan 2, but that is an unfortunate glitch in the game. Because the game is supposed to just save then bring you to your room in Littleroot town, and you can continue from there with no further problem. It is most likely to either never happen again, or the less likely option, that it is a permanent mistake in your cartridge. And if that is the case then I'm sorry but you're screwed. So get a new cartridge then.
