Question for Pokemon Emerald

Help me, I have Pokemon emerald and I am at the Pokemon league and I can't even beat the first dude, thing is, my pokeomon are rubbish my party at the monent is:
SWAMPERT: lvl 36
DODRIO: lvl 31
CLAYDOL: lvl 37
GARDEVOIR: lvl 51
SABELEYE: lvl 37
CLAMPEARL: lvl 23 (im training him)

OK , I think this is a pathetic team, I'm not even strong enough to catch Rayquaza, please if anybody can tell me any tips, to catch cool Pokemon, cool items, cool training methods or anything that will help my pathetic position at the moment, all help appreciated

You can cheat, trade for strong level 100s Smile or use a masterball to catch rayquaza. And stop saying you have Pokemon emerald. Its in the emerald section so we all ready know that.

Have a walrein (spheal) and a camerupt (numel) would be nice...change your clamperl for a spheal (then train) and another for numel (then train)...

Raid match call and kill every trainer you can find...train them to at least level 50...if you want you can train in victory road (wild Pokemon or trainers you happened to miss)

And last thing...train them evenly...that's all I can say...

You might want to train your team to lvl 60's. The elite 4 is pretty strong. Took me 14 tries but I didnt give up. Just train. You'll do fine. Some items are kings rock, dire hit (a real good one = exp. share!!!)
