Question for Pokemon Emerald
Hi guys
Ok usually I'm the one who gives the advise but now I need to ask a question, cause I'm a little confused. How do you evolve Tyrouge into Hitmontop and Slopoke into Slowking? Every time I try to evolve these the Tyrouge always evolves into Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee and the Slowpoke always evolves into Slowbro!! Has what they evolve into got to do with their stats? Thats what I heard anyway. Someone please help, I'd be grateful.

To evolve tyogre into hitmontop you need to have the attack and the defense stats the same.
To evolve slwopoke into slowking you need to trade slowpoke holding kings rock

Tyrogue's Attack and Defense have to be equal, and you must trade Slowpoke with King's Rock attached.

For Tyrouge you must make it's defense stats and attack stats the same in order for it to evolve. For Slowking, you must trade over a Slowbro holding a kings rock.

You have to give king rock to slowpoke and trade it.then trade it back so you can have it.I don't know how to evolve the tyrouge.try giving it a stone and trading it.

To get tyrouge to evolve it depends on it's stats.
And your slowpoke has to be holding a kings rock.When it evolves and then it will become a slowking.

Tyrogue's attack and defense stats must be the same when evolving it to get hitmontop.
For slowking, you must give a slowpoke the kings rock and trade with a friend.
So, you can get slowking and hitmontop xD

Okay, on the Tyrouge part you have to go to where it says it's attack and defense and check if the Attack and Defense has to be the same so it can evolve into a Hitmontop. Then about the Slowpoke to Slowking, you have to trade a Slowpoke while it is holding a King's Rock.

Tyrouge evolves into a Hitmontop if it's attack and defense is the same, Slowpoke evolves into Slow King if (s)he is holding a King's rock.

Ok, you're half right. For a Tyrogue to evolve into a Hitmontop, it's attack stat has to equal it's defence stat. And for Slowpoke to evolve into a Slowking, you have to trade it while it's holding a King's Rock.
P.S. How did you get a Tyrogue?

To get Hitmontops you need to be ble to wait, save it before it gets to it's evolve level you have a 33.5% chance of getting Hitmontops, keep doing it over and over until you get Hitmontops.
To get Slowking you need to let it hold Kings Rock and trade the pokemon.

Slowpoke --> Slowking - Trade Slowpoke while holding King's Rock.
Tyrogue --> Hitmontop - The Atk and Def you see in Tyrogue's status page (forgot the name) should be EQUAL.
