Go to the man on Pacifidlog, and if he says he can see Mirage Island, you can go there.

Go to Pacidifalog and go to the house furthest east. Talk to the guy standing next to the wall. He will tell you if he can see Mirage Island. If he can, surf to the east and there will be a gigantic island with only Wynaut on it and some rare berries. Make sure you don't plant any berries here because you might not see them for a long time.
