Question for Pokemon Emerald

1. Are the Elite 4 the same as Ruby/Sapphire Elite 4 or different.

2.Could you also tell me what I should do with my team, Which Pokmon I should have, moves etc, and I'm not at all with the dosh because I spent it for Hyper Potion.
This is the first time facing the Elite 4, for those who would say get Kyogre etc. Swampert Lv 47 Quick Claw
Waterfall, Dive, Dig, Surf (May have to change Dive, Waterfall for some other moves like Ice Beam)

Tropius Lv 44 Exp. Share (may give to Wailmer)
Body Slam, Sweet Scent, Magical Leaf, Fly (Body Slam and Sweet Scent for some moves I can't think of.

Mightyena Lv 38 Black Glasses
Tackle, Attract, Rock Smash, Bite (no comment of how awfully I've raised her also strange how I defeated Liz and Tate with Swampert and Mightyena by just Biting)

Machoke Lv 38 Amulet Coin
Brick Break, Secret Power, Earthquake, Focus Punch (Secret Power for a move, I'm keeping the two fighting moves, one for PP and the other for breaking Barriers)

Kecleon Lv 30 Smoke Ball
Faint Attack, Flash, Psybeam, Shock Wave (Psybeam, Flash and Faint Attack possibly should be changed, I would like to keep Shock Wave, don't ask)

Wailmer Lv 34 (trying my luck catching the Regi's) (change back to numel Lv 30)
Whirlpool, Astonish, Water Pulse, Mist (Just Caught)

3. Should I train Wailmer in Double Battles, Single or in the Wild.

That's all I need for now I think,

Thanks all

About the first question, SORRY
But question 2,
YOUR TEAM WILL BE DESTROYED if you go to the elite four
Train some more and find better Pokemon machoke is a good choise but mightyena is not. Choose absol.
Train wailmer in any way or go in areas where wailmer will be strong(like against rock pokemon).
Have a team of late 50s, for some chance in beating the elite four and have some strong electric Pokemon for wallace.

YOU NEED TO RAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3/10 from me

Gamefan2006 answered:

1. The Elite Four is different in Emerald.

2. Man, your team will be DEMOLISHED if you try the Elite Four. Let's just say you may need to consider a new party...

3. I like Double Battles, so I'd train Wailmer in Double Battles, but it's really up to you!!!

The Dark Key Master answered:

1) No clue too busy training
2) Okay,
A. Your pokemon(will DIE) should all be at around the same levels like mwa's. b. NONE of your Pokemon are strong enough. They MUST be around lvl. 57-64. c. Try to get a ghost/dark Pokemon (Banette, Sableye, my Sableye has NEVER let me down, or Absol) and teach it a ghost type move. I prefer shadow ball. It will really help against the ghost elite(if there is one).
If you follow my advice, the Pokemon league shouldn't be a problem.
Now GO KICK SOME A*beep*!!!!!
Yours truly,
The Dark Keyblade Warrior

Mixas answered:

1.Different
2.DONT GO YET
3.Yes you should train him in double battles.

Red Devil 19 answered:

Hey this team COULD beat the elite four in just a few levels training...all you need is to know who to play and when....
I managed to beat the elite four with a poor team (lvl-wise) when I first started emerald (just wanted to get throught it to see what was different compared to r/s).
Cant remember moves but I had

Blaziken lvl 37 - revived 1
Gardevor lvl 36 - revived 2
Geodude lvl 33 - revived 1
Gyarados lvl 37 - revived 2
Loudred lvl 39 - revived 1
Kecleon lvl 43 - revived 3

All you do is take plenty potions, tm's, and have battle shift tuned on.
I struggled at last of elite four but I only used 2 revives before this point, and after each trainer I would give new tm's so I would have a type advantage. Maybe this wasnt a very good way to go about defeating them, but it still worked in the end without extensive training.

I don't recommend you go to the Pokemon league without training them first though.
And as I have found out in my new start, you can catch rayquaza before the Pokemon league in emerald so do this first. Try not to use your masterball.

Pokcrisis Bloke answered:

Guess what, I beat them with only 1 change to the team, the super dragon Pokemon in green called Rayquaza. Also got the Regis. Regice took 2 Greatballs, not bad, no lies, honest, took a few tries but woeked to perfection.
