Is there a way to get a magnet without AR?

After you beat the elite four the safari zone will be extended with 2 new areas and pineco is in one of them.
Finding a magnet is simple, wild magnemites hold them.

Go to the new area in the Safari Zone. Go to the Northern part and go up to after the part where there are boulders where Shuckle hide in. You can more commonly find him there. I did, at least. You also find magnet on wild Magnemite. Rate this answer.

Pass the Pokemon league,go to the expanded part of the safari zone to the right-hand top corner,then you will find one.
Easy,a wild magnetmite in new maville is holding it.

you go to the safari zone after u beat the elite four.then go to the new part and go to the area where u find shuckle.thats where i found mine. And a magnet can be found on a wild magnemite.
