Question for Pokemon Emerald
Where do you find a fishing rod on Pokemon Emerald?
I have a Blaziken and I need to catch a water Pokemon to teach surf.

You can get the old rod from the fisherman guy in dewford town.. This game is just like sapphire so I would think that the other rods are in the same places as the were in sapphire

Go to Dewford Town, and then go to the right side of the gym.
You should see a fisherman. He will give you an Old Rod.
Or you can go to Routes 101, 102, or 103 and catch a Zigzagoon.
Zigzagoon can learn surf.
P.S. Sorry, you can't get a Super Rod or Good Rod yet

In emerald theres a guy on the RIGHT side of sootopolis city in a house. Behind him is a staircase covered by trees. How do you get passed???

The old rod is in the DEWFORD TOWN (the fisher next to the GYM).
The super rot is in the MOSSDEEP CITY(hause next to the Space Center).
The good rot is in the MAVILLE CITY.

The rods are in the same place as they were on Ruby and Sapphire.
Old Rod - Dewford Town (It only catches Magikarps.)
Good Rod - ???????
Super Rod - Mossdeep City (This can catch Sharpedo and Wailmer!)
