Question for Pokemon Emerald
Can someone explain Effort values/points to me? It's not making sense and I don't think it's the same as stats because people are saying that the max is something like 252 but thats all I know. Please I really want to know and it would help me a lot!

Effort Values (Aka Ev's) help determine your stats. They also affect Hidden Powers type and power.
