Question for Pokemon Emerald
Im not sure about this but if you have to evolve a Pokemon by friendship doesnt that just mean to keep battling with it?
For example you have to evolve golbat to crobat by friendship and my golbat is at lvl 43 with a tomato berry held to it. Thanks!

Yes you can basically raise a Pokemon's Friendship but battling with it, feeding it, it's favorite kind of berries/Pokeblock, entering it in some contests, ect. Any way that your character and the Pokemon build a friendship up.
