Ok, well I was wondering what is the point of getting the symbols? What do they do? Are they easy or hard to obtain? And well uhhhhhhh that's all iguess thanks to all who helped and will help!!

It's just something to do after you become Champion, seeing as there isn't much going on once you have done so. It proves you're a good trainer, I guess.

It's just an added bonus to Emerald. After becoming a Champion there's not much to do other than fill your Pokedex, which can become difficult and boring, so it's just something to do, plus it's part of the show and you can catch Sudowoodo there.
