Breeding my Shiny Pokemon

I tried breeding my shiny Beautifly with a Pineco but it always ends up the no-shiny pokemon...is there a 50% chance of getting a shiny? Or is there just no way?

Golden Dragon answered:

I tried breeding with two shiny's but they also come out normal. It's probally less than 50% chance.

master of chaos answered:

If you have Action Replay Then use the shiny Pokemon code when you hatch the egg you got from the daycare and that also works with the legendaries also.

Master of Zoni answered:

The Shinyness of a Pokemon is determined by a hidden number. The game randomly chooses a number for each and every Pokemon. If that number is 8 or less, then the Pokemon will be Shiny. The chance of that happening is 1 in 8312. Same with eggs. However, there is a chance that two normal Pokemon can have a Shiny egg.

Game_Freakk answered:

It is a very slim chance of hatching a shiny pokemon.
