I'm stuck on emerald for vba

I have Pokemon emerald for vba and whenever I complete the Pokemon league, the game runs through the credits but when it gets to the main screen it comes up with new game and won't let me continue - it deletes my save data!

Well you need a new game, or you can go back to the Pokemon league and do it again.. It's your choice...

Actually.....there is no reason.
You forgot to get more than 60 Pokemon in your pokedex.You have to catch more than 60 Pokemon or it will erase your save data.
It has happened to me in fire red.

This has happened to me before on Pokemon emarlad for vba but luckyy for me I saved on the rom and I saved on my hdd itis because you need to have over 120 Pokemon in you're pokedex for emarald on vba

Oh yeah vba means visual boy advance it's a gba emualtor

No there is no reason I completed Pokemon emerald with only 31 pokemon

ok for vba you go to the elite four and when your talking to wallis before you battle him save and x out then turn it on again load the game a ta-da!!! youre in youre room with youre pokemon and saved data!!!

I played emerald on vba to and I get the same it's beginning with a new game I have sen over 150 pokemons and I have 130pokemons in my box and erase a new game in place from going furder with the game on vba
