Ok.. I was told that the HM Dive was given to you by a diver near Mossdeep but I've looked everywhere for him and can't find him. I need an accurate discription of where he is. And thnx to whoever answers this.

Ok seriously, whoever told you that didn't know what he was talkling about. Ok first of all, if you're playing the Emerald Version, you should have noticed that as soon as you enter Mossdeep and head to the Space Center, Steven will be inside and some people will be talking about a note from Team Magma. Talk to Steven and he'll explain what happened and tell you to walk around a bit. Go challenge the Gym Leaders of Mossdeep and earn the 7th badge from them. Then go back to the Space Center. You'll see some Team Magma guys going into it and follow them in. You'll have to battle your way into the room where the Boss is. When you get there, Steven'll be talkling to the Boss and a partner, so you'll team up with Steven to battle the Boss and his friend. Beat them then go to Steven's house on the island and he'll give you the Dive HM as a reward. Oh yeah, and make sure you go back to his house after you be the "Not-so-elite"4 for a special surprise. Hope this helps.

Steven gives it to you eventually after a lot of work with the space center. Go talk to him at his house

You get it from Steven after beating Mossdeep City. He is in his house next to the gym. You have to have driven out Team Magma from the Space Observatory there first.

When you beat the Space Center, Steven gives it to you when you visit his house. It's in Mossdeep by the way.
