Question for Metriod Fusion

OK, I've beaten the game and on the search for all the items, and I found one in sector 6 (NOC), but I can't get to it. It's an energy tank behind speed-boost blocks. There are about 5 or 6 little platforms in front of it that you have to run across to get to it. But their disconected, and the only way you can connect them is by shooting the platforms to get those metal bars to come out the sides so you can run across them. The only problem, however, is if you shoot them wrong, those bars will rise vertically making you unable to build a boost. I need to know how to do it so I can get the item.

In order to get to the "hallway of thin-patience" (the place with the energy tank) you have to speed boost. It's hard to explain where, and it's a secret area. But it's off the first main vertical hallway in NOC. Good luck finding it!
