I suppose you mean their special unique attack range when you say combo am I right? Hold down the A button and do these combos within 0.8 seconds.

VariSwrd:

WideSword - up, right, and down.
LongSword - up, right-down, right.
FighterSword - left, left-down, down, right-down, right.
SonicBoom - left, B button, right, B button.
LifeSword - left, up-left, up, up-right, right.

NeoVari:

CrossSword - down, right, up.
DoubleLife - up, B button, down, B button, up, B button.
SuperSonice - left, right, left, B button.
