Question for Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman

I need help when your in the garggoylcastle maegaman says to go check the gargoyels, I do but it says the door is locked.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

You have to go to the side of the one gargoyels and press "a" on it's eye or body to go further in the game
