I can't beat catan hook and at the end of hint and cheats it says how to..

To beat Captain Hook, I used a deck full of 0 cards, simply because his combo attacks are so damaging that you need to be able to break them or you'll die. Don't attack him at all, just wait for him to attack you then break his cards every time. Then once he has to reload, go all out on him with everything you got. As you break his combos, he'll lose more and more cards meaning he'll have to reload more frequently, and you can attack more often.

If you don't have enough 0s to make a whole deck, fill it up with some heals at the end and some 9s at the beginning. Pass the 9s and skip to your zeroes for the defense phase, then as he reloads you can switch back to your nines and use them then. Also it's a good idea if you have extra room to use some enemy cards in your deck too.

To get a lot of moogle points, I recommend switching back and forth between some rooms over and over, especially ones with a lot of features you can hit or jump on to make health points or moogle points pop out. If you're patient, you can seriously build up a lot this way.
