With a hell of alotta luck. Seriously. Have a butload of zero cards, say, every six attack cards so that you can knock out his sleights. Only use them if he has a sleight, especially Dark Aura.
It is almost a neccesity if you want to avoid it. I was able to dodge it once with a combo of dodge roll and running up and down the screen, but like I said, ONCE. Also, have some cure cards spread out, or maybe a high ranking Tink sleight.
He'll search through his cards to break it while you heal, strategize, and breath. Good luck, and may the force be with you!
PS: CLOUD CARDS AND NOT RECCOMENDED AS HE TAKES TOO LONG TO ATTACK. YES, JUST LIKE THE OLYMPICS, A SECOND IS AN ETERNITY WHEN RIKU IS BEATING THE STUFFING OUT OF YOU
