::: I have been playing this game for a while now...I must stink at it because I have no idea what a lot of these questions are about! ::: ::: Well, anyway, it is summer of my first year. All these festivals like the chicken festival, the dog contest, the cow festival, the horse festival...They've all passed.
Was I supposed to enter in my animals?...Because non of my animals are grown...Well, except for my chicken (which I did enter in the festval...and lost)? I feel like I'm falling behind! ::: I am very poor.
I have purchased two things from the TV Network - a clock and a mirror. I have no idea how to upgrade anything...all of the hearts are still black on all of the boys (i'm really trying to get Gray but he keeps flirting with Mary...) -
I have no idea if i'm doing bad in this game. I really want to get more money and I want my animals to grow up and I want to get married. I want to actually get somewhere in this game...I can't even figure out how to fish! I know, i'm like a total loser, aren't I?
Oh, I know...but anyway...PLEASE HELP ME!!!

It's ok...keep giving grey some ore...you know where the goddesses spring is...there is a mine beside it...take your hoe and hammer with you...i think you know the rest...i gave him gold ore for 2 years and marred him...rick and kai are the easiest, but don't think about boys until you have everything from the t.v. Shopping network...and when your richer...e~mail me at [email protected] if you have anymore questions...i'm done with all 100 years!
You aren't very far in the game, so don't stress. I didn't start entering my animals until I was in my 2nd or 3rd year!!! You can't enter your animals unless they have grown (when they're 1 year or older, besides the chickens). You aren't falling behind, your just not on the go right now. Wait until your in your 2nd year or so, and you'll probably be winning contests.
About Gray, you probably won't get the next heart level until Winter, possibly the next Spring. Just follow that heart event, and you'll probably be at his next heart event in no time!
To fish, you take your fishing line out of the tool box, then press B by a river or lake. You'll have to wait a while, but when an exclamation point (!) pops up, then press B and you might have caught a fish. If it isn't a fish it could be wood, fish bones, rocks or garbage.
To get more money, you've got to wait a while. Money doesn't grow on trees, you know. Here are a couple of things you can get in each season that can get you more money:
Summer: honey, magic grass, things out of mines, and grapes.
Fall: mushrooms, poisioness mushrooms, magic grass, things out of the Spring Mine, and honey.
You can find mushrooms and poisioness mushrooms and mushrooms above and by Gotz's house. He's the guy who lives below your farm.
Winter: honey, things out of both mines (the spring mine and the winter mine), and white grass.
Now white grass is worth 150G, and you can get it by going through a little path above the Gotz's house.
Spring: bamboo shoots (by the winter mine), honey and magic grass.
These things should help you a little bit with your money problems.
You aren't a loser, it's just you aren't very far in the game yet. Keep your hopes up!I hope I helped a little bit with your problems in the game!

Oh! I forgot! You can get the fishing rod from Zack if you don't have it. Zack is the guy who lives on the beach and collects your shipping items! Sorry I forgot about that!
