Cliff won't marry me ! Why ?

You need the large bed and you need to meet all his hear events.

I had a dark red heart on him for 2 years and he didn't marry me untill the 4th year! I just stoped asking him and gave him wine everyday 'till I won all the contest and other stuff then he married me! You do need an extra larg bed before you can marry anyone though!

I just asked a question simmaler to that, my answer was to give the harvest goddes a flower every day and she'll ask you do you like a special boy, obviously say yes, then click on cliff, that is part of it, you can't marry cliff unless you've seen all his heart events, but aparently he doesn't have to be at a sertain color, because I saw his yellow event when he was at that deep red, after I saw that I proposed and he accepted. Something I thought you had to do was have the town cottage, but I don't, so, if you were thinking that, no you dont' have to.

The way to marry cliff is to go through all the heart events and have everything for your house and make sure you have all upgrades ...if you propose and he declines just give him gifts everyday instill he excepts ..that's how I did it and I'm on year 4
