You can't just built fences, you have to cut branches or stumps or buy from Gotz the Lumberjack. To find these lumber it will be between your stable and barn.

I would suggest using rocks to build fences they don't rot.
Ok well to get a fence it is not too hard. First do you have lumber? Second when you get the shelf fill it with rocks rocks make better fences they don't rot!!!
