I really want to marry Mary, but the black heart event isn't working!

I went to hmotaku.net and saw some information on how to get it, but it's still not working...

What day of the week/day of the month did you get the event?

Just doing the event wont but you to the next level, you have to give here gifts and other things to raise her heart level
