The blue feather is something you're going to have to buy from the supermarket, where you tend to see karen everyday. It's going to be around 1,000 dollars or so.
And for the kitchen, check every saturday on your television (clicking to the left) on the shopping network, and then go down to the Inn and go on their phone to call in for the kitchen, then you have to buy all the tools for the kitchen as well.. It's pretty expensive but at the end you can totally cook.
