For your first question, I think you should not use cheats at all. But if it were up to me, I would use an Infinite money cheat code and a code to have an infinite ammount of wood for it.

For your second question I cannot help you on, for I have never heard of it.

You can't use cheats on gba harvest moon unless it's on the computer and in friends of mineral town you're a boy not a girl you're mistaken with more friends of mineral town.
