Ive been going around the shrieking shack for days and I am not sure what I'm doing. It seems that I am going around in circles. What am I doing wrong. I stopped all of the waterfalls but I am not getting anywhere.

You have gotta freeze the little things that are gushing water. You will make a path across the area where you turned off the waterfalls. That will lead you to Ron.
