I've gotten three of the eating missing books but I am blocked from reaching the 4th by a big ditch. How do I cross it? Do I need a particular spell? If so, where do I acquire it from.
I really want to get past this so I can move further along so any immediate help is very much appreciated.

Go on the bottom part and use flipendo on the boulder next to the ditch it should move and fill in the ditch.
I'm not exactly sure where you are, but if you are where I think you are, you use Lumos !
