I'm in the third or fourth part of the forbidden forest where you have to pop those funny things that stick in the ground and then you fix a concrete thing and put it in the water and then I can't get across cause there's still a space for another concrete thing to put in.

If i'm guessing right as to where you are, I believe there's the space for the extra stone and an island... I think the stone's on there. If i'm wrong and this doesn't help, just ignore this.
Okay so I'm at the part in the forbidden forest after you defeat the second slamander and I don't know where to go or what to do after that.
