After you get to the common room, how do you get to and through the reading..

First when you leave the common room you have to go past the blue portrait to the door right next to it and go in. Nextyou go all theway up and then turn right godown the carpet untilyou reach a book case (dont get caught by Percy because he'll throw you out.) now you have a choice take a shot cut where you can lose life or continue in the reading room. If you pick the shortcut their should be a picture with a basket of fruit, go up to it and press the action button.(a,b,r, or l ) now go up you shold see a suit of armor try to avoid it when you get past it work your way through the obstacles then you should come upon a small stair case once youbegin going up it a barrel will come at you jump over it and run the direction it came from as fast as possible before another one comes.then go down the other fight of stairs and pull the lever you com upon that will open a door then there is a gargoyal like statue with a barrel in front of it shoot the barrel open then be careful not to get shot by the statue when you go in for the bean that came out of the barrel. Then go through the door that you opened when you pulled the lever then read the owl mail.(feel free to fill up your vial in the culdron)whn this is done go through the bathroom where fred(?) is then go throughthe door to your left and then go up and there is george(?).talk to him and he"ll tell you what needs to be done!!
