Question for Golden Sun: The Lost Age

I need help I can't get brigg'sgrandma to forge me a trident.
I already have the three parts,briggs is in the jail.
Did I miss something,wat shoould I do to have my trident forged!!

First you have to repair the ship in Alhafra. If you have all 3 prongs it should be easy. Then a couple of talking parts will happen when you try to leave and Briggs will escape on the boat. Then go to where his grandma is and he will be there. You will have to fight a boss so be ready. After you win she will forge you the trident.
