Question for Golden Sun: The Lost Age

How do I update my game from golden sun 1 to my game in golden sun 2.

I beat golden sun 1 and I have Issac and his people in golden sun 2.

So how do I update it can someone please tell me !

You have lost your chance It must be done before Issac's party joins yours. My advice, do It at the beggining of the game.
