How do I transfer my data from golden sun to golden sun 2 with a code?
Don't tell me do it with the link-cable because I don't have one and I'm not planning on buying one.
I need to know how get the transfercode.

Right I forgot to mention that if I press down and R at the title screen nothing happends......

You have to hold it down the whole time.
As in, you hold those buttons down and then press start at the same time to go to the options screen before you play.
If that still doesn't work, then just hold the buttons down from the moment you turn it on.
I tried it about a million times with the same code and it didn't work for me. It may not work at all, I don't know but mine didn't work. Try to get a friends link cable and another gba, which is how I did it.
