Question for Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones

In Hector's Tale, on chapter 25:Crazed Beast, there is a village and in that village is a girl named Karla, who happens to be Karel's sister. Everytime I send any unit to "acquire" her, she would say, "I would lend you my sword, but I'm looking for someone." How do you get Karla to join your forces?

I can't exactly remember the chapter number, but its the side quest where you have to gather supplies in order to fight Nergal. In the chapter there is an arena, have Barte (powered up) go to the arena. There Karla will be able to survive her one attack then quit and you get her. She's a level 5 swordmaster.

If you are in Hector's quest just forget her. Also make sure you make Bartre a level 5 warrior by chapter 29. After you beat chapter 29, take the side quest. In Hector's quest chapter 29x will have a village in it. Take level 5 warrior Bartre to the village and Karla will join.

By the way I'm not entirely sure she's in a village but I know shes somewhere and you talk to her with Bartre.

You get Karla on Chapter 29x (Eliwood's Mode) or Chapter 31x (Hectors Mode), She is standing on top of the arena, talk to her with Bartre (careful, you must survive one attack from karla) Bartre MUST be at least level 5 promoted.
